Sunday, March 7th: National Girl Scout Sunday
Presented by Olyvia Bolen (microphone) & Sabrina Clements (showing patches)
Olyvia
attends Dayspring and Sabrina attends Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
Since its founding in 1912, Girl Scouts has enjoyed the support of religious organizations to enrich the spiritual lives of Girl Scout members. Each year in March, the anniversary of Girl Scouts, Scouts observe Girl Scout Sunday.
Olyvia Bolen has been a Scout since age five. She is a member of Troop 6692 of the Girl Scouts Diamonds Council. Olyvia is a Junior Girl Scout and will be bridging to Cadette soon. We were pleased to have her represent the scouting program. She has earned several badges in each level of the program. We are proud of you, Olyvia!
We enjoyed having Sabrina visit and help represent the Girl Scouts. She has also worked hard to earn badges.
Girl Scout Mission:
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character,
who make the world a better place.
Girl Scout Promise
on my honor, I will try:
to serve God and my country,
to help people
at all times, and
to live by the Girl Scout Law
